Chris Hansen was born in Wenatchee and has called the Valley home his entire life (except for one miserable year in another state that ends in "orida" ;-) Chris has been a broadcast media professional for nearly 25 years and has done just about everything under the radio and television sun. He's been (and still is) a DJ; a play-by-play sports announcer; a public address announcer; a talk show host (and every other kind of host you can think of); and is now a content provider for Townsquare Media. When he's not busy reading, writing, and flapping his gums at work, Chris enjoys listening to and collecting obscure 80s music, dressing as eclectically as possible, and taking long drives to anywhere no one else seems to be going. Join Chris weekday mornings on the KPQ Morning Update with Jason Taylor from 6-9, and weekday afternoons from 3-7 for The Rockin' Ride Home on The Quake 102.1. He looks forward to knowing that you're listening! And feel free to drop him a line with any questions or comments.
