Suspect Throws Lit Firework, Ignites Fire in Bridgeport: Report

An unnamed suspect is accused of lobbing a lit firework in a residential area of Bridgeport in Douglas County.

Shortly before 6 p.m. on Sunday, authorities were alerted to a blaze in the area of 5th St. and Fairview Ave.

According to RiverCom, the fire was quickly dashed by vigilant authors. Little else is known including the suspect's motives.
