Neal Schon seems to be clicking with a core group of remaining collaborators. Meanwhile, Arnel Pineda is still missing.

Neal Schon will appear tonight on NBC's 'The Voice' with other members of the group – but not Jonathan Cain.

Looking back from the pre-Steve Perry era through the band's platinum-selling superstardom and into modern-era recordings.

"Wherever I go, the heart and soul of the band is going to go with me," the guitarist says. "Journey goes on."

In a new interview, Neal Schon recalls a key moment that happened as they were working on the classic song.

The Final Frontier trek kicks off next February.

"I loved what Led Zeppelin used to do," the guitarist says.

He has been in the lineup since 1981's diamond-selling U.S. chart-topping 'Escape' album.

The Journey guitarist reached out to his old bandmate, but it wasn't about music.

"It's going to be a very different show," Neal Schon says.
