Motley Crue's Nikki Sixx offers a detailed explanation on their use of backing tracks while assuring that all four members are playing 100 percent live.

He also reveals what he learned during his 4 year run as Motley Crue's singer.

Nikki Sixx hints that the band will take an extended break once their Return of the Carnival of Sins tour is over.

"I hope you’ve enjoyed the ride as much as we have," Sixx said while reflecting on the band's humble beginnings.

Motley Crue bassist believes classic rockers need to act their age.

"There's a lot of people who didn't get into [the band] until 'Girls, Girls, Girls' or 'Dr. Feelgood,'" he explains in a new interview.

Sixx also responded to fans calling for the return of founding guitarist Mick Mars.

The rockers kicked off their 10-show Las Vegas residency last weekend.

The bassist has been posting online about "new projects" outside of Motley Crue that he's excited to share with fans.
