Department of Natural Resources Meteorologist Matthew Dehr specifically thinks North Central Washington will have a normal season because of the weather pattern.

The fire is burning 1,440 acres just south of State Route 20 North Cascades Hwy., which has led to the roadway being indefinitely closed.

It's not surprising I suppose that since I consider myself a bit of a Star Kiddo (i.e., that I'm not really from around these Earthly parts ;-) that I love to go stargazing.
