America’s Worst Pizza has 6 locations in Washington state.
Pizza is the universal food. OK, I may be stretching things a little bit. But. I love pizza. I have spent a lot of time over the last couple of years talking about where to find the best pizza in Washington state or in the United States as a whole. Now we're going to talk about where the worst pizza is.
I think I've mentioned before that my very first pizza experience was Pizza Peak back when I was in junior high. It was a wonderful experience. I had no idea what this was that I was eating. “Hey, it's pizza, Dave.” Later, when they started serving pizza in the lunchroom at high school, it could be debated that maybe that's where the worst pizza in the United States was. Don't get me wrong, I ate it. It just wasn't that great.
In college, it was a place called Pizza Mia. (That was good pizza.) When I moved to Wenatchee it was a place called Gino's Pizza. (That was really good pizza.) We have several excellent places to get pizza in the Wenatchee Valley and all over Washington State, for that matter.
But let's talk about the bad pizza. according to 247wallst.com,
“Given the intensity of differing viewpoints, it is with no lack of trepidation that we foray into the topic of pizza chains. Specifically, which pizza chains should you avoid?”
They have come up with what they consider to be the top five worst pizza chains in the United States? they went on to say,
“There was far greater consistency in the votes for the worst pizza chains, though. These five chains stood out in our survey due to their low rankings almost across the board.”
Starting at #5, Domino's Pizza.
I have to admit Domino's has gotten better, but not that much better.
#4 Papa Murphy's.
Now I have to admit I disagree with this, I thought Papa Murphy's was pretty good. I certainly thought it was better than Domino's.
#3 Little Caesars.
- I'll have to give you that one. I'm ashamed to admit that I actually eat it from time to time. Not so good.
#2 CiCi's Pizza.
I have never tried CiCi's Pizza, but if it's #2. Below Little Caesars, well.
And the big winner of worst?
#1 Chuck E Cheese.
it has been at least two decades since I've eaten out of chucky cheese i must admit i have to agree on this. according to 247wallst.com,
“The reviewers in our survey lambasted this chain’s pizza. Among the most stinging criticisms were:
- The cheese tastes “artificial.”
- The pizza is “tomato sauce and cheese-covered cardboard.”
- The “crust was obviously once frozen.”
- The “sausage looks like it came out of Chuck’s non-singing end.”
We could go on, but you get the point.”
Simply put, have you ever seen the movie Friday Night at Freddy's? Chuck e cheese is like that, only it's the pizza that kills you. (One bite at a time.)
Life is too short to eat bad pizza.
Find your favorite and don't settle for less.
