HBO is Filming the Seahawks for Their Series, Hard Knocks

HBO Film are just wrapping up shooting for the TV documentary series Hard Knocks In Seattle. HBO is planning on airing the first episode of the Seattle Seahawks version of Hard Knocks on August 4th. Which is earlier than they had planned.

‘The NFL's acclaimed series "Hard Knocks" will begin filming the Seattle Seahawks this week and will premiere on HBO earlier than previously announced, with new episodes airing every Tuesday from Aug. 4 through Sept. 1.
Production crews with NFL Films will arrive in Seattle on Wednesday, and filming for "Hard Knocks: Training Camp with the Seattle Seahawks" will begin in Renton Friday, a senior National Football League spokesperson told KING 5.’

This is the first time the Seattle Seahawks have been part of HBO Hard Knocks. It probably doesn't hurt that they won this year's Super Bowl. The filming for the series is taking place at the seahawks training camp and will be focusing on Coach Mike MacDonald and 4 major players from the Super Bowl, Sam Darnold, Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Devon Witherspoon and Byron Murphy II. 

The five-episode series will premiere on HBO and HBO Max. August 4th and will run on consecutive Tuesdays. 

HBO debuted Hard Knocks in 2001; it has featured multiple teams over the years. 

I'm an HBO subscriber and I've seen Hard Knocks on the schedule of shows available but have honestly had no interest in watching it because, HEY! I'm a Seahawks fan; I don't need to know what happened with the New York Jets or the Cincinnati Bengals, or the Miami Dolphins, and I especially don't want to hear about the New England Patriots. (They're going to be featured in 2027.)

The shows will be narrated by Lieb Schreiber, who I'm sure will be very good at his job. 

And yes, I will be watching this edition of the show. because It's about my Seahawks.
